The "New Chapter of Ancient Rhyme - Yingjing Sandware Art Exhibition" recently appeared at the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum. The exhibition presents a panoramic and multi-dimensional presentation, systematically showcasing the unique charm and profound heritage of the national intangible cultural heritage representative project - Yingjing sand vessel firing technology, and delving into the inheritance and development path of traditional crafts in contemporary society. Yingjing is located on the western edge of the Sichuan Basin. As a traditional craft with distinct local characteristics, the history of Yingjing sand vessels can be traced back to more than 2000 years ago. Yingjing sand vessels adhere to traditional handmade production, undergoing multiple rigorous processes such as material collection, blending, and refining, embodying the wisdom and hard work of generations of inheritors. In the new era, Yingjing sand vessels have been innovatively explored from multiple dimensions such as material formula, vessel design, application scenarios, and dissemination methods. They are widely used in fields such as tea ceremony, catering, and artistic creation, demonstrating their diverse values and cultural expression. During the exhibition, a series of special activities will also be launched. The "China Hundred Tea Banquet" tea party will invite more than ten representative inheritors of national and provincial intangible cultural heritage tea skills to taste six major types of tea using Yingjing sand vessels as carriers, allowing the audience to experience the cultural integration of "vessels and tea".
