Recently, the first 10000 ton offshore new energy bulk carrier in China, the "Weiqiao Green Dynamic 1" cargo ship, was loaded with bauxite from Yantai Port and docked at Wudi Entrepreneurship Port in Binzhou City, Shandong Province for unloading and transportation. After charging the battery at the first charging and swapping energy storage station at the port, it returned to Yantai Port. The first voyage of the 10000 ton new energy bulk carrier "Weiqiao Green Dynamic 1" near the sea navigation area has been completed, marking the opening of the first green shipping logistics channel from Yantai to Binzhou Bohai Bay. As the first new energy bulk carrier, the "Weiqiao Green Dynamic 1" cargo ship integrates 8 containerized lithium battery packs and adopts parallel oil electric hybrid drive technology. It is mainly used for the transportation of bulk goods such as bauxite, iron ore, coal, etc., reducing traditional shipping carbon emissions and achieving "zero emissions" in offshore port areas, helping to promote the development of green shipping.
