The 2025 Jeju Youth Friendly Exchange Night between China and South Korea will be held in South Korea

The "2025 China South Korea Youth Jeju Friendly Exchange Night" event was successfully held in Jeju, South Korea recently. Chinese Consul General in Jeju, Chen Jianjun, attended the event. More than 150 guests from all walks of life, including Han Dongshu, Vice Chairman of the Environmental City Committee of Jeju Provincial Council, Han Fengshun, Administrative Director of the Provincial Education Department, Jin Yidui, President of the Provincial Journalists Association, Gao Minghuan, President of the Jeju Korea China Exchange Association, Zheng Junnan, Honorary Chairman Wei Shijie, and President Amu of the Korea China Youth Friendship Association, Wang Shan, Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute at Hanna University, and representatives of Chinese and Korean youth in the district, attended the event. (Image provided by the Chinese Consulate General in Jeju) Chen Jianjun spoke highly of the "China Korea Youth Common Peace Forum" and other youth exchanges between the two sides, stating that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War, as well as the 80th anniversary of the liberation of South Korea. He looks forward to the continued strengthening of exchanges between the youth of the two countries on the basis of the "Common Peace Forum", remembering history, cherishing peace, and working together to create a better future. They expressed their willingness to work together with the Chinese side to explore more channels of communication and exchange, continuously promoting mutual understanding, matchmaking, and common development for future generations. At the event, art paintings by young Chinese painters in South Korea and young artists in Jeju were exhibited, presenting their understanding and expression of Jeju from different perspectives of China and South Korea. Jeju high school students who visited Nanjing to carry out peace education exchanges, Jeju producer Jiang Jixiong who hosted the filming of China South Korea friendship programs, and other young representatives took the stage to deliver keynote speeches and share their feelings about their visit to China. The Jeju Sound and Landscape Children's Choir performed a fusion song of "Jasmine Flower" and "Arirang". Volunteer teachers and representatives of international students from the Confucius Institute at Jeju University also performed wonderful programs.
