At the press conference, it was introduced that from June to November this year, the Ministry of Public Security, in conjunction with the State Administration for Financial Regulation, deployed 17 key provinces and cities to carry out a six-month crackdown on illegal and criminal clusters in the financial sector related to "black and gray industries". Since the start of the work, public security organs across the country have organized and launched nearly 60 cluster crackdowns, filing and investigating more than 1500 cases of "black and grey production" crimes in the financial sector, cracking down on more than 200 professional criminal gangs, involving a total amount of nearly 30 billion yuan, effectively purifying the financial market ecology, fully safeguarding the national financial management order and security stability, and effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers.
