The application of Beidou technology is reshaping the regional industrial form

The reporter learned from the recent Beidou Industry Innovation and Development Forum held in Kunming, Yunnan Province that China's government, industry, academia, research and application are working together with "technology landing+scenario empowerment" as the core, transforming Beidou from a "national treasure" to a "golden key" for industrial upgrading. The precise spatiotemporal signals of Beidou travel through mountains and seas, from laboratories to fields, cross-border channels, and water conservancy projects. One technological achievement after another is being transformed into strong momentum, injecting continuous technological vitality into the digital connectivity and economic and social development of Southwest China, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Deep cultivation of technology, domestic scenario based applications have taken root in Qujing, Dehong and other places in Yunnan, deploying high-precision monitoring equipment of Beidou in hundreds of geological hazard hidden points. These devices, known as "mushrooms" by the surrounding villagers, monitor slope displacement at the millimeter level 24/7 to safeguard the safety of all ethnic groups. At present, the Yunnan Beidou ground-based augmentation system has achieved technical exchanges with countries such as Laos, and the CORS station network project in Laos undertaken by Chinese enterprises has been smoothly promoted. In addition, by sharing 310 benchmark station resources, it provides legitimate and authoritative high-precision positioning services for neighboring countries. The attending experts also proposed the "Yunnan Plan": further improving the support system of Beidou's "digital sea going", leveraging the advantages of the radiation center, constructing near space services, developing aerospace cultural and tourism projects, exploring international satellite data trading centers, and making Beidou technology a link for regional digital interconnection.
