On the morning of December 19th, with six unmanned container transport trucks loaded with electronic products and other goods automatically driving from the dedicated channel to the Baoyuan cargo yard in Vietnam, the Chinese section of the China Vietnam Puzhai Xinqing freight dedicated channel smart port officially began operation. The Chinese section of the Zhongyue Puzhai Xinqing Freight Dedicated Channel Smart Port is located in Pingxiang City, Guangxi Province. It is an integrated smart port clearance platform with unmanned container transport trucks as the core and AI intelligent scheduling as the support. It uses new technologies such as Beidou navigation, vehicle positioning technology, and vehicle road cloud integrated intelligent networking to build a "unmanned, intelligent, and visualized" full process smart operation system. By creating a "supervision logistics service" three in one empowerment system, it improves the level of trade facilitation. At present, the project has achieved round the clock dispatch of cargo clearance in the supervision area of the Chinese section, and the daily clearance capacity of the port is expected to increase to about 2880 trains. It is understood that the construction of the Chinese section of the China Vietnam Puzhai Xinqing Freight Dedicated Channel Smart Port will start in September 2023, which is an important achievement for both sides to implement the China Vietnam Joint Declaration and deepen practical cooperation. The completion of the project will greatly improve customs clearance efficiency, reduce enterprise costs, and help build an efficient and convenient China ASEAN cross-border logistics system.
