2025-12-19

The Central Radio and Television Station released the mascot image for the 2026 Spring Festival Gala on the 18th. The four magnificent horses of "Qiqi", "Jiji", "Chichi", and "Chengcheng" are lively, lovely, and full of vitality, which are in line with the theme of the evening party "Qiji galloping unstoppable" and complement each other. The design inspiration of the mascot comes from the classic images of horses in different periods of China, and incorporates millennium patterns such as flowing cloud patterns and mountain cloud patterns, which are full of the beauty of history and the renewal of the era. It is full of the beautiful meaning of success and a bright future. The design inspiration of "Qiqi" comes from the Xuju Zun of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the color scheme is taken from the original meaning of the word "qi" - a blue and black horse, with a solemn and elegant temperament. The design inspiration for the "Ji Ji" comes from the Han Dynasty's heavenly horses. Its posture is inspired by the national treasure level bronze galloping horse, and its wings are inspired by the flying horse shape on the hunting patterned copper umbrella collar with gold, silver, inlaid with pine stones. The design inspiration for "Chichi" comes from the Tang Dynasty's three flower horse. The Sanhua horse is named after its mane being trimmed into three petals, and is the highest standard of good horses seen in Tang Dynasty cultural relics and historical materials, represented by the Six Horses of the Zhaoling Mausoleum. The design prototype of 'Chengcheng' is the Przewalski's Mustang. As the only surviving wild horse species on Earth, Przewalski's horse is a "living fossil of biological genes" with a long evolutionary history of 60 million years. Nowadays, the population of Przewalski's horse in China ranks first in the world, which is an important achievement in China's biodiversity conservation and ecological civilization construction.
