According to the statistics of Hohhot Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, the import and export of China Europe freight trains through the Erenhot Port under customs supervision increased by 16.7% year-on-year; The freight volume increased by 24.3% year-on-year, and both the freight volume and the number of trains reached a new historical high for the same period. At present, the number of operating routes of the China Europe freight train 'Middle Passage' has reached 74, an increase of 3 compared to 2024. The radiation range of the train extends to more than 10 countries and more than 140 domestic and foreign city stations, with goods covering more than 10000 types of vehicles and accessories, mechanical and electrical equipment, furniture, building materials, etc. Among them, the proportion of high value-added goods such as domestic cars, mechanical equipment, electronic appliances, etc. has increased to over 40%. ”Ye Shuai, Deputy Director of the Railway Supervision Department of the Second Company Customs under Hohhot Customs, introduced. While the number of China Europe freight trains entering and leaving the Erenhot railway port continues to increase, the customs department has also improved the operation speed of China Europe freight trains through customs clearance reforms. It is reported that in terms of customs clearance service guarantee, Hohhot Customs relies on smart supervision equipment to ensure that the goods on the train are "delivered, inspected, and released at any time", comprehensively improving customs clearance efficiency. Ye Shuai introduced that currently, the Erlian Customs under Hohhot Customs has a daily supervision of 13 inbound and outbound China Europe freight trains.
