The launching ceremony of the 7th Huang Gongwang Cross Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition and the Cross Strait Cultural and Creative Industry Integration Development Exchange and Sharing Conference were recently held in Changshu, Jiangsu. As a brand event for cultural exchange between Changshu and Taiwan, the Huang Gongwang Theme Cross Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition has been successfully held for six sessions, attracting more than 360 university students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao regions to participate. Nearly 3000 entries have been collected, gradually becoming an important platform for connecting the creativity of young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and inheriting Eastern aesthetics. The theme of this competition is "Staining Time, Instrumenting the East", encouraging participants to draw inspiration from Huang Gongwang's artistic spirit, empower cultural innovation with artificial intelligence technology, and explore the future of product design digitization as the creative direction, creating works that combine cultural connotation and market value. The competition features multiple categories and awards, attracting teachers, students, and young designers from universities across the Taiwan Strait to participate as individuals or teams. They explored the empowerment path of industrial development from the dimensions of value chain extension, business innovation, and economic drive, and optimized the cooperation mode of cultural and creative industries between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Yao Xiangdong introduced that the collection of works for the Huang Gongwang Cross Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition has been launched on December 12th.
