Over 2900 works from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong/Macau were awarded the 10th "Huacan Award"

The 10th Cross Strait Emerging Design Competition · Huacan Award Ceremony was held in Kunshan, Jiangsu on the 11th, and a total of 2953 works from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao won awards. The theme of this competition is "Integration", highlighting digital innovation and intelligent design, and a large number of works combining cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality have emerged. A batch of metaverse design works demonstrate the narrative potential and scene construction ability of the integration of virtual and reality; A batch of intelligent hardware design works, reflecting the deep exploration of young designers on the integration of digital technology and design. This year's Huacan Award has collected over 120000 works and attracted more than 480000 young designers from home and abroad to participate, including 1791 entries from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas, with 4397 designers participating, an increase of 30% compared to the 9th edition. This year, 2953 award-winning works from the national competition were selected. Mainland contestants Zhong Weicong, Li Qunying, Tang Liyue, and Taiwanese contestant Cai Xiuping's team stood out with their respective works and won the highest award, the "Grand Prix". It is reported that the Huacan Award has been successfully held for ten sessions, attracting nearly 1700 participating universities and institutions from home and abroad, with over 420000 works, covering more than one million young people.
