In today's era of iterative development of artificial intelligence, how to respond to changes in ideological and political education has become an urgent topic of the times. The Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development clearly proposes to "comprehensively implement the 'Artificial Intelligence+' action" and emphasizes "strengthening and improving ideological and political work, and promoting campus culture construction". This has pointed out the direction for ideological and political education in the new era, and universities should actively utilize artificial intelligence as a fundamental and supportive force to promote methodological innovation. Currently, the widespread application of artificial intelligence technology is reshaping human cognitive structures, communication styles, and values. The traditional methods of ideological and political education are facing challenges. If the "toolbox" of ideological and political workers cannot keep up with the times, the influence of ideological and political education may be diluted. Therefore, the transformation of methods is not only a tool for improving efficiency, but also an inevitable requirement for responding to the profound changes of the times and ensuring the effectiveness of ideological guidance. We have seen that some cutting-edge explorations have begun to show results, such as the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Ideological and Political Education Research Institute at Central China Normal University, which expands the multi-dimensional ideological and political education matrix of "main classroom+cloud classroom+practical classroom", which is a positive attempt to promote interdisciplinary integration. The core advantage of ideological and political education in the era of artificial intelligence lies in always adhering to the principle of "technology as the body, value as the soul". Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool, but its essence is an extension of human intelligence. Its development and application must always serve the fundamental task of "cultivating talents for the Party and the country". This means that any technological innovation cannot deviate from the guidance of mainstream ideology. Ideological and political education stimulates people's subjective initiative through ideological guidance and value guidance, with the aim of establishing emotional connections and value resonance between individuals. Although technology can improve work efficiency and accuracy, it cannot replace the warm words and examples of educators, nor can it replace the self realization and construction of educational objects in practice. If excessive reliance on technology leads to 'seeing things but not people', it is putting the cart before the horse. North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power highly integrates the traditional advantages of ideological and political work with information technology, using the construction of short video resources that integrate the interests and mainstream values of young college students as the entry point, and based on the construction of a high-quality network ideological and political resource database, to achieve the transformation from the traditional ideological and political education model of "flood irrigation" to the digital and intelligent ideological and political education model of "precision drip irrigation", effectively improving the quality and efficiency of work. Building a consensus on the value of "intelligent governance" for the future is a higher requirement for the innovation of ideological and political education methodology. Artificial intelligence is a double-edged sword, and its widespread application will inevitably bring new challenges to social governance. Ideological and political education should actively play a value leading role in "intelligent governance". This requires us to help the public dialectically understand artificial intelligence through theoretical interpretation and practical guidance: we should not only fully recognize its enormous potential to promote productivity development, but also actively encourage innovative applications; We should also actively participate in building an ethical framework for technological governance. Ultimately, the innovation of ideological and political education methodology in the era of artificial intelligence is a manifestation of upholding integrity and innovation. It requires educators to embrace technological innovation with an open mind, grasp value orientation with a rigorous attitude, adhere to the original intention and value soul of educating people in changes, and innovate work forms and interactive modes in the unchanged.
