A Y-20 aircraft carrying Chinese and Singaporean "Cooperation-2025" joint training personnel and equipment arrived at Changi Air Force Base in Singapore on the 8th. It is understood that this joint training is not only the 7th time that the armies of China and New Zealand have held a "cooperative" series of joint training, but also the third year after the establishment of a "three-year research cycle" in 2023. On the basis of the "Joint City Counter Terrorism Operations" project, the previous two years focused on battalion command post exercises and battalion level comprehensive exercises. This year, the emphasis is on brigade level simulations and battalion level actual exercises, aiming to deepen and improve the coordination and cooperation capabilities of the two armies in joint counter-terrorism operations. The Chinese troops participating in this joint training were selected from a certain brigade of the 74th Group Army. Over the next ten days, China and Singapore will engage in comprehensive exchanges in urban counter-terrorism operations command, tactical application, logistical support, and other aspects through mixed formations, joint command, and coordinated actions.
