Authoritative Release: Today, it was learned from the National Healthcare Security Administration that the National Healthcare Security Administration and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security have organized adjustments and formulated the "National Basic Medical Insurance, Maternity Insurance, and Work Injury Insurance Drug Catalog (2025)" (hereinafter referred to as the new drug catalog) and the "Commercial Health Insurance Innovative Drug Catalog (2025)" (hereinafter referred to as the commercial insurance innovative drug catalog), which were recently issued. The new version of the drug catalog has added 114 new drugs, including 50 Class 1 innovative drugs, while also removing 29 drugs that are not clinically available or can be better replaced by other drugs. After this adjustment, the total number of drugs in the list has increased to 3253, including 1857 western drugs and 1396 traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations. The security level in key areas such as cancer, chronic diseases, mental diseases, rare diseases, and children's drug use has been significantly improved. The first edition of the commercial insurance innovative drug catalog includes a total of 19 drugs, including cancer treatment drugs such as CAR-T, rare disease treatment drugs such as neuroblastoma and Gaucher's disease, as well as Alzheimer's disease treatment drugs, forming a good complementary connection with basic medical insurance. The relevant person in charge of the National Healthcare Security Administration stated that the new drug catalog is the 8th adjustment since the establishment of the National Healthcare Security Administration, and has formed a normalized, standardized, and scientific adjustment mechanism.
