They are guiding industry enterprises to accurately implement the requirements of the new standard, continuously optimize design schemes, and accelerate the production of new electric bicycle products that satisfy consumers. The person in charge stated that the purpose of the new standard revision is to reduce and eliminate safety hazards such as fires and traffic accidents caused by electric bicycles throughout the entire chain, while simultaneously improving functional practicality, product diversity, driving comfort, and user convenience. At present, more than 600 car models from over 100 enterprises across the country have passed CCC certification and are being gradually launched into the market. The vast majority of them can well meet the needs of consumers. The person in charge said that some companies' understanding of the new standards is not comprehensive and accurate enough, especially in the product design process, they have not fully considered the actual needs of consumers, and the user experience is not humanized enough, which has led to criticism of the vehicles produced and put into use. This situation is not a common phenomenon in the industry. In response, the Consumer Goods Industry Department has guided relevant enterprises to optimize product design schemes and accelerate the production of electric bicycle products that satisfy consumers. At the same time, it is required that the China Bicycle Association further strengthen industry self-discipline, increase the promotion of new standards, and organize member enterprises to comprehensively and accurately implement the new standards.
