In order to further consolidate and improve the mechanism for preventing and resolving marriage and family disputes, strengthen the awareness of women and families to resolve marriage and family disputes through mediation, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of women and children in accordance with the law, the Supreme People's Court and the All China Women's Federation recently jointly issued the "Notice on Establishing an Online Litigation and Mediation Coordination Mechanism for Marriage and Family Disputes" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), which puts forward clear requirements for establishing and improving the online litigation and mediation coordination mechanism for marriage and family disputes. Through the joint efforts and complementary advantages of the court and the Women's Federation, they can better provide accessible mediation services for women and families. The Notice requires that we must adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era, actively integrate into the social governance system of co construction, co governance, and sharing under the leadership of the Party Committee, establish and improve diversified mechanisms for resolving marriage and family disputes, fully leverage the unique advantages of the "overall to overall" mechanism in preventing and resolving marriage and family disputes, and promote the prevention and resolution of more marriage and family disputes at their source. The Notice points out that the Supreme People's Court and the All China Women's Federation support and guide the establishment of the People's Mediation Committee for Marriage and Family Disputes on the People's Court Mediation Platform, and carry out mediation through online, offline, or a combination of methods. Online applications for judicial confirmation of mediation agreements, production of mediation documents, and other work comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of marriage and family dispute mediation. The Notice stipulates the specific work content of the online litigation and mediation docking mechanism for marriage and family disputes, including division of responsibilities, workflow, and construction of mediation teams, and puts forward specific requirements for the selection, management, training, guidance, and other work of mediation organizations and mediators.
