The magnificent picture of 180 billion pieces of express delivery reflects the strong pulse of China's booming economy. Since 2025, the economies of scale effect of postal express delivery has continued to amplify, significantly enhancing its ability to drive industry and regional economy, and becoming an important support for promoting consumption, expanding domestic demand, and stabilizing growth. In the first 10 months, the regional coordinated development of China's postal and express delivery industry has reached a new level. The proportion of express delivery business revenue in the central and western regions of China increased by 0.6 and 0.3 percentage points respectively year-on-year; The proportion of express delivery business in the national total has increased by 1.1 and 0.6 percentage points respectively. The 72 hour delivery rate and public satisfaction with express delivery services in key areas have both increased year-on-year. The State Post Bureau revealed that this year's 180 billionth express delivery in China was an intelligent learning machine purchased online by a citizen in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The package was sorted and shipped out of the JD Smart Wolf warehouse through fully automatic sorting, and after arriving at the station, it will be delivered by unmanned express vehicles to the doorstep of the recipient's community, and then delivered to the doorstep by JD Express personnel. The entire delivery process has achieved a high degree of unmanned operation. In recent years, the postal and express delivery industry has taken advantage of diverse application scenarios, abundant data resources, and broad market space, actively adapting to the needs of new formats and models, increasing investment in scientific and technological research and development, enhancing scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and improving the level of scientific and technological application. In the warehousing process, handling robots, flying ladder robots, high-density shelves, customized material boxes, automatic storage workstations, etc. can achieve comprehensive unmanned shelving, picking, and outbound, greatly improving production efficiency; In the sorting process, the AI vision model relies on cameras covering major sorting centers to achieve millisecond level response, significantly reducing the rates of misclassification, damage, and loss; In the transportation sector, the application of vertical domain models is accelerating, helping to achieve dynamic optimization of routing planning and seamless connection of transportation modes; In the procurement process, the pilot scope of drones, unmanned vehicles, and robots has been expanded, effectively reducing procurement costs. The relevant person in charge of the State Post Bureau stated that the postal management department will focus on realizing the beautiful vision of "smooth flow of goods", act as the "backbone" of the real economy, actively serve and strengthen the domestic market, effectively reduce the logistics costs of the whole society, and better serve the high-quality development of the economy and society.
