The China Pakistan Joint Laboratory of Radio Astronomy Technology was recently launched in the state of Para í ba, Brazil. Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Zhu Qingqiao, Secretary General of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology Pan Xiaodong, Governor of Para í ba State Azevedo, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Innovation Almeida of Brazil, and representatives from relevant universities and research institutions from both countries attended the meeting. Zhu Qingqiao stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China Pakistan relations are currently at their best in history. As an important part of the strategic alignment between China and Pakistan, technological innovation cooperation plays an increasingly important role in promoting new industrialization, energy transformation, sustainable development, and other aspects between the two countries. The Chinese side is willing to work closely with the Pakistani side, adhere to innovation driven and open cooperation, promote the deepening and implementation of scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries, jointly cope with the uncertainty of the external environment with the stability of bilateral cooperation, and inject new momentum into global southern solidarity and cooperation and world sustainable development. The Pakistani representative stated that the cooperation between the two countries in a wide range of fields such as energy, aerospace, mathematics, and climate has been effective, and the cooperation in scientific and technological innovation between the two countries has enormous development potential. The Bazhong Radio Astronomy Technology Joint Laboratory project is a new milestone in Bazhong's scientific and technological cooperation. The Pakistani side will actively promote the implementation of this new landmark project and take it as an opportunity to further strengthen scientific and technological exchanges, expand innovation cooperation with the Chinese side, and use scientific and technological innovation achievements to drive economic development, benefit the people of both countries, and address global challenges.
