The China Ethiopia Agricultural Poverty Reduction Demonstration Village Project was launched at the end of May this year and is a key demonstration project of the fourth phase of the aid to Ethiopia by the Senior Agricultural Expert Group. Godino Village is about 70 kilometers away from the Ethiopian capital city of Addis Ababa. As of now, the demonstration village has completed the selection of 55 demonstration households in the first phase, the first round of technical training, and project mobilization, and the villagers have shown high enthusiasm for participation. It is expected that within three years, the project will drive 200 households to achieve a 50% increase in annual income and significantly improve their self-sufficiency rate in food and living standards.
