According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, on November 25th, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission released a summary of the nationwide investigation and punishment of violations of the spirit of the eight central regulations in October 2025. In the same month, a total of 25316 cases of violations of the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation were investigated and dealt with nationwide, with 32544 people criticized, educated, and dealt with. Among them, 22741 people were punished for party discipline and government affairs. This is the 146th consecutive month that the monthly report data has been released. From the perspective of problem types, in terms of fulfilling duties, serving economic and social development, and protecting the ecological environment, there were 10561 cases of misconduct, inaction, disorderly behavior, and false behavior that seriously affected high-quality development. This accounted for 84.1% of the total number of formalism and bureaucratic problems investigated in October. The three types of issues investigated in October, including illegal collection and delivery of precious specialties and gifts, illegal eating and drinking, and illegal distribution of subsidies or benefits, accounted for 55.4%, 22.4%, and 11.7% of the total number of hedonism and extravagance issues investigated that month, respectively. From the level of investigation and punishment, in October, a total of 1 provincial and ministerial level leading cadre issue, 96 prefecture level leading cadre issues, 1354 county-level leading cadre issues, and 23865 township level and below cadres issues were investigated and punished nationwide. Among them, the problems of township level and below cadres accounted for 94.3% of the total number of issues investigated and dealt with. Persistently implement the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation, rectify the "Four Winds" and establish a new style with the spirit of nailing nails, promote the normalization and long-term development of work style construction. Disciplinary inspection and supervision organs at all levels must always maintain a high sword, strictly supervise and enforce discipline, crack down on the emergence of unhealthy practices, adhere to the principle of investigating and treating corruption together, and form a strong deterrent. We need to improve the mechanism for regularly discovering and solving work style problems, and focus on the regional, industry, and stage specific characteristics of work style construction to deepen rectification and improvement. We should carry out work style education on a regular basis, guide party members and cadres to strengthen their party spirit cultivation, thoroughly identify shortcomings, consciously correct and overcome various ideological deviations, and cultivate excellent work style with strong party spirit.
