The second meeting of the third council of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Productivity Promotion Service Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was held on the 25th in the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. Four executive director units and nine director units of the alliance attended the meeting, with nearly 30 representatives in attendance. The meeting reached a series of consensuses, including further leveraging Macau's platform advantages, deepening regional cooperation, and assisting enterprises in expanding business opportunities overseas. Guan Zhiping, Chairman of the Alliance and Chairman of the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, stated that the Alliance actively connects with the national "15th Five Year Plan" proposal and will focus on exploring three areas. Firstly, fully leverage the unique advantages of Macau's Sino Portuguese platform and exhibition industry to assist alliance members in connecting with mainland enterprises internationally and expanding business opportunities overseas; Secondly, deepen regional linkage and strengthen the promotion of exchanges and cooperation among local governments, enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the Bay Area; The third is to improve the collaborative mechanism of the alliance, promote mutual benefit and win-win among member units in scientific and technological research and development, achievement transformation, market development, and jointly enhance the overall level of new quality productivity in the Greater Bay Area. At the meeting, Shen Changjiang, Chairman of the China Productivity Promotion Center Association, stated that it will continue to play a bridging role and provide stronger support for the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation through measures such as setting up special rewards, building resource platforms, and formulating industry group standards. Wang Houhua, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Productivity Promotion Center, introduced the center's achievements in cross regional cooperation, international exchange, and technology transfer. He also stated that the center will promote institutional reform, establish the Provincial New Quality Productivity Promotion Center, and strengthen full chain technology services through alliances. The President of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, Bi Jianwen, pointed out that focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and enterprises going global, deepening the sharing of alliance resources, and helping the Greater Bay Area build an innovative ecosystem with global competitiveness. Liang Qianwen, Secretary General of the Alliance and Senior Manager of the External Cooperation and Expansion Department of the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, reported on the Alliance's work summary for this year. In addition, the Alliance Council unanimously approved the admission of the Institute of Nano and Advanced Materials Research and Development and China Communications Services Macau Limited as new members of the Alliance. Thus, the total number of alliance members has increased to 37. With the addition of new members, the service network of the alliance will further expand, and the ability to integrate resources will also be significantly improved. The attending representatives suggested that the alliance should focus on promoting the deep integration of innovation chain and industrial chain in the Greater Bay Area in the future, helping enterprises develop new quality productivity according to local conditions, and injecting new impetus into the construction of a dynamic and internationally competitive Greater Bay Area.
