In July 2025, the public security organ of Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, investigated a case of producing and selling fake and inferior fire extinguishers, captured 6 suspect, destroyed 3 fake companies and 5 criminal dens, seized more than 10000 fake and inferior fire extinguishers and more than 50 tons of fake and inferior fire extinguishing agents on the scene, and involved more than 50 million yuan. After investigation, since January 2021, a certain fire equipment manufacturing company has purchased unqualified fire extinguishing agents at low prices and organized the production of counterfeit and inferior products that do not meet national standards. At present, the main suspect of the case has been taken criminal coercive measures. In June 2025, the public security organ of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, investigated a case of producing and selling fake and inferior filter type self rescue respirators, captured 6 suspect, destroyed 14 criminal dens, and found 50000 fake and inferior filter type self rescue respirators on the scene, involving more than 10 million yuan. After investigation, since January 2023, the suspect Jiang, Heng and other people have recycled expired filtered fire self rescue respirators, purchased labels, quality certificates, anti-counterfeiting verification QR codes and packaging materials of best-selling brands, assembled and produced fake and inferior products, and sold them through e-commerce stores. At present, the main suspect of the case has been transferred to the procuratorial organ for examination and prosecution.
