As an important component of new infrastructure, China's satellite communication development has entered the fast lane since the beginning of this year. In August of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Guiding Opinions on Optimizing Business Access and Promoting the Development of Satellite Communication Industry" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"), which comprehensively laid out and systematically planned the work of opening up satellite communication services. Conducting commercial trials of satellite IoT services is an important measure to implement the work deployment of the Guiding Opinions, adapt to the trend of technological innovation and industrial transformation, and actively explore new satellite communication services. The commercial trial of satellite IoT business conducted this time supports eligible enterprises to carry out satellite IoT business in accordance with laws and regulations, aiming to further stimulate the vitality of the private economy, support the safe and healthy development of commercial aerospace, promote the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, and serve the construction of a strong manufacturing country, aerospace country, network country, and digital China.
