On November 19th, the "World Mayor Dialogue · Nanjing" event opened in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Mayors and representatives from 10 countries including Brunei, Egypt, Germany, Italy, and China attended the conference to share their experiences in urban governance, explore future trends in urban development, and contribute their wisdom to promoting sustainable development of global waterfront cities. The theme of this event is "Yangtze Tide Civilization Co opening". During the event, attendees will explore the achievements of China's urban modernization development around four main themes: "Vitality of Waterfront Cities," "Protection of Waterfront Cultural Heritage," "Restoration and Green Transformation of Waterfront Ecology," and "Waterfront Cities and Literature." They will share advanced urban governance experiences in cultural heritage protection, green ecological development, and smart city construction. The "World Mayor Dialogue" event is guided by the State Council Information Office and is an important platform for global exchange and cooperation.
