Recently, the Fujian aircraft carrier formation of the Navy organized multi subject training at sea. This is the first time that the Fujian ship has conducted live training at sea since its commissioning. During the mission, the aircraft carrier formation consisting of multiple ships such as Fujian, Yan'an, and Tongliao conducted training on various subjects including fleet navigation, joint search and rescue between ships and aircraft, and takeoff and landing of carrier based aircraft. In the joint search and rescue mission of the fleet and aircraft, after the command post of the formation issues a special situation, the fleet, aircraft, sea, and air cooperate and coordinate to quickly complete the rescue task, promote the improvement and optimization of the process of handling special situations of the fleet's carrier based aircraft and the transfer of search and rescue forces, and strengthen the emergency response capability of the formation. Multiple types of carrier based aircraft such as J-35, J-15T, J-15DT, and KJ-600 have completed multiple catapult takeoffs and landing training exercises on the Fujian ship, effectively testing the ship's electromagnetic catapult, recovery, and deck operation capabilities, and further verifying the adaptability of the ship and aircraft.
