In a green vegetable experimental field, unmanned tillage equipment accurately plows and unmanned harvesters efficiently harvest crops such as white radish and Chinese cabbage. This is not a sci-fi scene of future agriculture, but a real picture seen by reporters recently at the country's first production type unmanned cabbage farm. This unmanned farm is located in Taizhouwu Village, Wenquan Town, Haidian District, Beijing. It integrates multiple vegetable production "black technologies" such as unmanned seeding with new energy agricultural machinery, unmanned precision seeding with air suction, intelligent harvesting with dual machine cooperation of white radish and carrot, and unmanned harvesting of Chinese cabbage. The reporter saw in the plowing demonstration area that a new energy vegetable unmanned operation platform suspended a rotary tiller, which drove autonomously according to the preset route, and completed the plowing and soil breaking operation of one acre of land in just a few minutes. This device is equipped with a high-precision Beidou navigation system, with a positioning accuracy of centimeter level. It can also automatically adjust cultivation parameters according to soil texture, and the operating efficiency is more than 10 times that of manual labor. ”Wu Huarui, an expert in the intelligent management of the national bulk vegetable industry technology system, told reporters. The harvesting area for root vegetables is more lively. The specialized harvester for white radish and carrot "opens its big mouth" to accurately clamp the radish leaves and easily pull them out of the soil. The processes of loosening the soil, supporting the leaves, clamping, transporting, and cutting the leaves are completed in one go. The sliced radish is directly transported to the transport robot, achieving fully automatic connection between harvesting and transportation. Compared to traditional manual methods, the operational efficiency of a single harvester is equivalent to 50 laborers, significantly reducing labor input. In the cabbage harvesting area, the first domestically produced unmanned harvesting machine for Chinese cabbage was unveiled. The machine uses the Beidou positioning and visual precision matching system to automatically identify the position of Chinese cabbage, smoothly perform harvesting actions such as straightening, ball holding, cutting, and conveying, and achieve precise and orderly harvesting of Chinese cabbage. The operation process is safe, efficient, and orderly. Through the deep integration of the Internet of Things, unmanned agricultural machinery, and intelligent management systems, the Taizhouwu Demonstration Zone has achieved full mechanization and less manpower production of major outdoor vegetables such as Chinese cabbage and carrots, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing labor costs. ”Yang Guohang, Vice President of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, stated that the first production type unmanned cabbage farm in China is an important component of the institute's "Qiji Smart Farm" series, marking the first landing of the "Beijing model" of smart agriculture in the vegetable field nationwide and providing a new path for the high-quality development of the vegetable industry.
