On the evening of November 15, 2025, as a large floating crane of 1200 tons steadily lifted a steel box girder onto the Qinglongmen Extra Large Bridge of the Phase II project of the Liuheng Highway Bridge in Zhoushan Port, Ningbo, the world's largest span three tower steel box girder cable-stayed bridge officially kicked off the construction of its upper structure, laying a key foundation for the subsequent completion of the project. The Qinglongmen Extra Large Bridge, as one of the core control projects of the Phase II project of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port Liuheng Highway Bridge, spans the Qinglongmen Waterway, with a total length of 2212 meters and a main span of 2 × 756 meters, connecting Liuheng Fodu Island in Zhoushan City and Meishan Island in Beilun, Ningbo City.
