The CIIE is the world's first national-level exhibition focused on imports. Holding the CIIE is important measure for China to open its market to the world on its own initiative. The recently concluded eighth CIIE, which was the first major economic diplomatic event held after the successful convening of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, has sent a strong signal that China adheres to open cooperation and mutually beneficial win-. This has not only provided for China's economic development but has also expanded the space for world economic growth. It is a necessary choice to actively expand imports in accordance with the economic development law and a pragmatic measure to meet the needs of own development. This will more efficiently achieve the connection of domestic and foreign markets and the sharing of factors and resources.
