Domestic aircraft C919 and C909 make their debut in the Middle East

On November 17th local time, the Dubai Airshow kicked off at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with domestically produced aircraft C919 and C909 making their debut at the show. This is the first time that Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has participated in the Dubai Airshow. Through flight performances, exhibition displays, and product promotions, COMAC will present the latest achievements in the development of commercial aircraft in China and deepen exchanges and mutual trust with the global aviation industry. It is understood that in the static display area of the air show, China Southern Airlines' C919 aircraft and COMAC's C909 business jet appeared on the same stage. This Southern Airlines C919 aircraft adopts a 164 seat three cabin layout. The interior space of the C909 business cabin is spacious and comfortable, with flexible layout of functions such as rest area, reception area, meeting area, dining area, etc. It provides a configuration plan of 12 to 29 seats, which can meet the diverse travel needs of customers. In addition, COMAC also exhibited a full range of aircraft models in the exhibition hall, including basic models of C909, C919, and C929, C909 business jet, medical aircraft, emergency rescue command aircraft, firefighting aircraft, cargo aircraft, as well as C919 shortened and extended models, to meet various needs of the global aviation market with diversified products. As of now, more than 170 C909 aircraft have been delivered to domestic and foreign customers, more than 790 routes have been opened, and routes have been put into operation in Southeast Asia; 26 C919 aircraft have been delivered and over 30 routes have been opened; The development of the C929 aircraft is steadily progressing.
