The Hong Kong 2025 Honours and Awards Ceremony will be held on the 15th at the banquet hall of Government House in Hong Kong. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, presented honors and certificates to the 405 recipients in attendance at the ceremony. The list of honours and awards was announced on July 1st, with a total of 427 individuals receiving honors and commendations. Li Jiachao previously expressed gratitude to all the awardees for their significant contributions to Hong Kong and hoped that they would continue to showcase their strengths and serve society in their respective fields. According to the list, individuals who have been awarded honors and commendations come from different social classes and backgrounds, benefiting various fields and sectors of society. Nine individuals, including the Secretary for Justice of the Special Administrative Region Government, Lam Ting kuo, who have made outstanding contributions to safeguarding national security, have been awarded honors. Among the recipients attending the ceremony on that day, three received the Grand Bauhinia Medal; 19 people received the Golden Bauhinia Star Medal; 26 people received the Silver Bauhinia Star Medal; 11 individuals received the Medal of Excellence from the disciplinary forces and the Independent Commission Against Corruption; 43 people received the Bronze Bauhinia Star Medal; Two people received the Bronze Medal of Bravery; 44 people received honorary medals from disciplinary forces and the Independent Commission Against Corruption; 107 people received the Medal of Honor; 74 people received the Chief Executive's Community Service Award; And 76 people received the Chief Executive's Public Service Award.
