On November 12-13, the "Beijing Colorful Culture Youth Blossoming" action plan, jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the Education Working Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, featuring the theme of "Great Ideological and Political Course" for the education of new students in capital universities in 2025 under the theme of "Strong National Revitalization with Me", was held at the Centennial Memorial Hall of Peking University. More than 2000 college students watched it live, and 200000 new students from capital universities watched it online. This "Great Ideological and Political Course" was jointly performed by more than 300 teachers and students from more than 30 schools, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Central Academy of Drama, Beijing Film Academy, etc. Through artistic expressions such as scenario plays, dance shorts, operas, musicals, and songs, it focuses on presenting the educational effects of the "Beijing Colorful Culture Youth Blossoming" action plan, vividly demonstrating the high spirited style of the capital's youth who firmly uphold their ideals and beliefs and bravely shoulder the mission of the times, educating the vast number of students to strive for the great goal of serving the country and becoming responsible fighters. Since 2023, Beijing has been deeply implementing this activity for three consecutive years, solidly carrying out more than 4000 activities in seven categories: faith tours, red tours, ancient capital tours, cultural and artistic tours, volunteer tours, park tours, and book fragrance tours, covering a total of 400000 college students from 33 universities in the capital.
