Wulungu Lake National Wetland Park in Fuhai County, Xinjiang is located on the northern edge of the Gurbantunggut Desert and is known as the "Pearl of Junggar". With a water area of 1035 square kilometers, it is one of the top ten freshwater lakes in China.
