The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, stated in her opening speech that over the past year, several representative science and technology innovation companies in Beijing have gone public or established businesses in Hong Kong, tested their applications in low altitude economy, pharmaceuticals, and other fields through the Hong Kong market, and promoted their brands overseas. As of the end of last year, Hong Kong's cumulative actual investment in Beijing exceeded 140 billion US dollars, accounting for over 65% of the actual utilization of foreign capital in Beijing. At the same time, Beijing's cumulative direct investment stock in Hong Kong exceeds 50 billion US dollars, and there are over 270 listed companies in Hong Kong. Beijing Mayor Yin Yong delivered a speech saying that Beijing is willing to work with Hong Kong to fully leverage the unique role of the Beijing Hong Kong Fair, better serve the overall development of the country, and jointly promote high-quality development between the two regions.
