The largest fresh goji berry can reach a length of 3.5 centimeters and can be harvested up to 1200 kilograms per acre. Xing Liangde visits goji berry planting bases every few days to check the situation, and the "7-8" and "173" goji berry varieties are particularly eye-catching. He said that these two types of goji berries have large grains and oval shaped fruits, which are more suitable for freshness preservation. At the Golmud Characteristic Biotechnology Industrial Park, reporters saw that fresh goji berries are cleaned and spread, then sent to a drying machine for locking and drying. After natural cooling, they are then transported to a belt type color sorter equipped with optical detection and intelligent sorting technology for screening, and finally packaged and stored. We use low-temperature vacuum pulsating locking technology to produce locked goji berries with a color similar to fresh products, high nutrient retention rate, easy foaming, soft and sticky taste, and longer shelf life. ”Xing Liangde introduced that locking fresh goji berries does not add preservatives or artificial colors, and strives to make each goji berry as fresh as freshly picked branches as possible. In addition to traditional eating methods such as soaking in water, making soup, and cooking Congee, technology is unlocking the N possibilities of Chinese wolfberry. Qinghai Golmud Agricultural Reclamation (Group) Co., Ltd. has partnered with Northwest A&F University to explore deep processing of goji berries. Multiple products have entered the pilot stage and multiple scientific research projects have been reserved. Researchers have also developed dried goji berries, goji seed oil soft capsules, goji berry slices, goji berry oral liquids, and conducted in-depth research on goji berry sugar peptide solid beverages with blood lipid regulating effects, goji berry protein powder that enhances immunity, and red goji berry powder that nourishes and improves eyesight.
