Dalian Ecological Farm creates a green development sample

Recently, Dalian Lushun Xiaobailou Land Co., Ltd. Agricultural Professional Cooperative, Dalian Chengli Big Cherry R&D and Cultivation Center, and Lushunkou District Aijun Family Farm have been successfully selected as provincial-level ecological farms. What are the "green codes" for these three ecological farms? Dalian Lushun Xiaobailou Land Co., Ltd. Agricultural Professional Cooperative is a collective organization cooperative in Dongbeishan Village, Longtou Street, Lushunkou District. Liu Naixin, a selected student from Northeastern Mountain Village and assistant secretary of the Party General Branch, introduced that in 2017, the village committee registered and established a cooperative to address the problem of "difficulty and low price in selling fruits" among villagers, and concentrated the power and resources of villagers. Dongbei Mountain Village adopts ecological planting technology, uses isomorphic fruits to produce enzymes, relies on the advantage of coastal areas for fish protein ecological fermentation, fully utilizes horse manure, cow manure and other natural compost fermentation, and reduces the use of chemical fertilizers. At the same time, the village adopts drip irrigation technology for precise water supply, saving water resources; Replacing chemical pesticides with biological control to reduce pollution. Nowadays, Northeastern mountain villages have achieved large-scale production of apples and established a sorting and sales industry chain. The small apples of the past have become a true "golden nugget" in the village. The Dalian Chengli Cherry Research and Development Center, relying on mature channels for cherry cultivation, breeding, sales, and promotion, has successfully created the "Dana" plum brand and opened up a new path for the development of the fruit industry in the Lushun area. As the first large-scale plum planting park in Northeast China, the center adopts advanced pruning technology, significantly enhancing the ventilation and transparency of the orchard, improving fruit quality, and facilitating mechanized operations. The orchard can enter the peak production period in 4 years, which is 2-3 years earlier than traditional orchards. The manager of the center, Yu Bing, introduced: "We use mushroom sticks and farmyard manure to ensure soil fertility, implement full process supervision before, during, and after production, and ensure the quality and safety of Ximei products." Aijun Family Farm is a family farm that comprehensively utilizes open field cherries, field crops, and livestock breeding resources. In 2025, it is authorized to use the geographical indication of "Lushun cherries" agricultural products. The farm insists on using organic fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizer, adopts agricultural technology measures such as water fertilizer integration, green prevention and control, straw composting and returning to the field, and adopts a combination of self harvesting and export management to ensure product freshness and traceability. The farm also actively develops agricultural tourism, allowing tourists to experience the charm of ecological agriculture while experiencing agricultural culture. As of now, there are 2 national level ecological farms and 9 provincial-level ecological farms in Lushunkou District, exploring various ecological development models suitable for Lushunkou District. Lushunkou District will further increase its support for ecological agriculture technology and promote more farms to embark on the path of ecological development. (New Society)
