Recently, the "2025 Luojiang Poetry Festival" jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Sichuan Writers Association opened in Luojiang District, Deyang City. The theme of this event is "The Thousand Year Poetry Vein Runs the Luojiang River, Integrating Culture and Tourism to Create a New Chapter". It revolves around the innovative model of "cultural decoding+technological empowerment+cultural tourism transformation", promoting the breakthrough dissemination of Luojiang cultural IP and giving new vitality and charm to poetry culture in contemporary times. Wang Hong, Deputy Mayor of Deyang City, pointed out in his speech that Deyang, as the core area of ancient Shu civilization, carries the profound history of Sanxingdui civilization and is also the capital of heavy equipment in China. The Luojiang Poetry Festival has become a cultural landmark that radiates across the country. Deyang is under the leadership of "World Sanxingdui · Comfortable Tour Deyang", making every effort to build an international tourism city, continuously deepening the integration of culture and tourism, and telling the story of Deyang well. At the opening ceremony, the People's Government of Luojiang District and the Chinese Poetry Society signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly launch the "Building a City of Chinese Poetry", marking a new stage in the construction of Luojiang's poetry culture brand. At the event, an AI poetry and painting show titled "Millennium Poetry Road of Luojiang" and the theme song "Poetic Luojiang" were also released, and a situational drama titled "Poetry and Human Fireworks" was staged to showcase the profound cultural heritage of Luojiang in various artistic forms. At the roundtable discussion session, experts and scholars from Peking University, East China Normal University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and other institutions conducted in-depth exchanges on "Poetry and Distances - From Adjusting the Elements and Bones to the New Chapter of Bashu". In addition, the Poetry Festival also includes a series of activities such as poet gathering, creative exchange meetings, and folk performances, promoting the formation of a new scene of "poetry+" cultural tourism integration.
