From November 4th to 6th, the 7th China Arab States Broadcasting and Television Cooperation Forum was held in Chongqing. 300 representatives from broadcasting and television government departments, broadcasting and television listening media, international organizations, ambassadors to China, relevant enterprises, and university think tanks from China and 16 Arab countries witnessed the continuous growth and flourishing of the tree of friendship between China and Arab countries, and the fruitful achievements of exchanges and cooperation in the field of broadcasting and television listening. As one of the mechanism activities under the framework of the China Arab Cooperation Forum, the Chinese and Arab guests of this forum focused on two major directions: content and technology. Discussions were held on topics such as "China Arab audio-visual content cooperation in the digital media era" and "technology empowering high-quality development of the audio-visual industry", with a focus on dialogue and exchange on content cooperation, technology application, and cultivation of new business models. This forum is not only a positive action to implement the spirit of the first China Arab States Summit and the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China Arab States Cooperation Forum, promote the construction of a broader cultural exchange pattern, but also a warm-up for the second China Arab States Summit to be held in China next year. This forum has set up a content technology exchange area, where 18 broadcasting and television listening institutions from both China and Arab countries showcased the highlights of their cooperation in content works, the latest practices of China's broadcasting and television listening cutting-edge technology and technology empowerment industry development, and jointly deepened and promoted exchanges and cooperation in the technology and content industries between China and Arab countries. During the forum, the attending representatives unanimously adopted and released the Joint Declaration of the 7th China Arab States Broadcasting and Television Cooperation Forum. This forum, with the theme of "China Arab Civilization Mutual Learning, Audiovisual Innovation and Win Win", is jointly organized by the State Administration of Radio and Television, the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, and the Arab States Broadcasting Union. At the same time, the forum also carried out the "Hello Chongqing, Discovering the Charm of the City" Chinese and Arab media gathering activity. Chinese and foreign media went to the Seris Super Factory, Western International Logistics Hub Park and other places to interview and report, showcasing the new achievements, new atmosphere and unique charm of Chongqing's economic and social development to the world, as well as the "magnificent mountains and rivers, new charm of Chongqing".
