On November 6, 2025, the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge in Tongling, Anhui Province was officially opened to traffic. This bridge is the world's first double decker cable-stayed suspension cooperative system bridge for both public and railway use, with a total length of 11.88 kilometers. The upper level is a six lane highway, and the lower level is a high-speed railway and a conventional railway, integrating multiple transportation functions. (New Society)
