Cen Haohui inspects the venue facilities of the 15th National Games and the Macao Paralympic Games

On the 6th, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Cen Haohui, inspected all competition venues of the 15th National Games and the Macao Paralympic Games, as well as related facilities such as the event command center and athlete residences. He stated that the Macau competition area is ready, and all parties must continue to give their all and hold high-quality competitions, allowing athletes to fully devote themselves and jointly present a wonderful sports event. Cen Haohui listened to the work report on the preparation of various competitions, volunteer work, athlete arrangements, as well as the deployment of medical, security, transportation and other aspects during the sports meet. He believes that all the work and arrangements for the Macau competition area are ready, including the smooth completion of the competition venue and software and hardware measures, all personnel and supporting facilities are in place, and all coordination work has been deployed. Cen Haohui stated that hosting the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Special Olympics is an important task for the SAR government this year, carrying the trust and expectations of the central government for Macau, and having profound significance for the development of Macau's sports industry and socio-economic development. He instructed the relevant departments of the special administrative region to continue to make every effort, further arrange all details, adhere to the principle of "simplicity, safety, and excitement" in organizing the competition, and ensure that this sports event is successfully held in Macau. The 15th National Games and the Special Olympics for the Disabled will be jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. The Macau region will host 5 events including table tennis, three person basketball, five-a-side basketball (men under 18), volleyball (women's adult group), and karate for the 15th National Games, as well as 2 badminton events for the Special Olympics for the Disabled.
