On November 3, the second Asian Urban Culture International Poster Exhibition and the "the Belt and Road" China ASEAN Integration Digital Art Exhibition opened in Dalian Academy of Arts. Experts and scholars from Chinese and foreign universities and enterprises gathered together to discuss issues such as "digital innovative teaching development" and "cultural integration of the the Belt and Road", providing new ideas for cross-cultural art exchanges. At the opening ceremony, international designer Sun Jian, professor of communication at Dalian University of Technology Cui Yinhe, dean of the School of Humanities at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts Wang Xiong, chief curator Miao Ping, professor of the School of Media and Animation Zeng Rong, dean of Liaoning Vocational College of Light Industry Song Wen, professor of Dalian University Zhao Jiangang, professor of Dalian University of Science and Technology Chen Dan, and others shared their teaching philosophy and practical experience, witnessing the opening of the exhibition together. It is reported that since May, this exhibition has attracted the participation of 144 units and universities from more than ten countries around the world, with a total of 3190 works collected. The final selection of 180 excellent works covers various forms such as flat posters, digital dynamic art, AIGC, etc. It not only embodies the wisdom and talent of creators from different countries, but also vividly interprets the civilization concept of "harmony in diversity". Civilization is colorful through communication and enriched through mutual learning. As the main body of cultural exchange and mutual learning, universities play an important role in consolidating international consensus and promoting cultural coexistence. It is understood that as a folk cultural exchange practice activity of the "the Belt and Road", this exhibition has been held in many universities in Malaysia and Thailand. The domestic touring universities include Dalian Academy of Arts, Heilongjiang Oriental College, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing United University, etc. This exhibition is hosted by the Asian Design Week Organizing Committee, jointly organized by the Malaysian Graphic Design Association, the Macau Poster Design Association, and the Asian Design Alliance, and jointly organized by multiple Chinese and foreign universities.
