More than 3700 new merchants in the Global Digital Trade Center rely on a stable cross-border network to communicate and negotiate business with global merchants in real-time. The center has deployed new digital infrastructure such as a 10 gigabit optical network and cross-border data transmission channels, with a construction area of 1.25 million square meters. It is located in five functional areas including markets, commercial office buildings, commercial districts, apartments, and digital trade ports. From the initial roadside market to the current global digital trading center, Yiwu Market has undergone six relocations, thirteen expansions, and five generations of upgrades over the past 40 years, expanding its business scope from "buying and selling nationwide" to "buying and selling globally".
