Autumn October, poetic Luojiang. From October 29th to November 2nd, the "2025 Luojiang Poetry Festival" jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Sichuan Writers Association will be held in Luojiang District, Deyang City, Sichuan Province. The theme of this poetry festival is "New Chapter on the Integration of Culture and Tourism in Luojiang with a Thousand Year Poetry Pulse". On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, it has been comprehensively upgraded, and for the first time, it has promoted the deep integration of traditional culture and modern life in the form of "poetry+culture and tourism". Luojiang is located at the forefront of the Shu Road, with a long cultural heritage. It is the hometown of Li Tiaoyuan, the "talented scholar of Shu" in the Qing Dynasty. His compilation of the "Hanhai" series of books systematically preserves a large number of Ba Shu documents, accumulating a profound cultural heritage for this land. Since its establishment in 2006, the Luojiang Poetry Festival has developed into a cultural brand with widespread influence nationwide. During the event, a series of activities will be held, including the opening ceremony, signing ceremony for jointly building the "City of Chinese Poetry", keynote speeches, poet collection, creative exchange, and poetry entering the campus. Domestic poets, critics, and young creators will be invited to gather in Luojiang to explore the inheritance and innovation of poetry in the new era. Cultural scholars, tourism experts, and contestants of the "Chinese Poetry Competition" will also visit cultural landmarks such as the Pang Tong Temple Museum and the Li Tiaoyuan Memorial Hall, conduct on-site research and roundtable discussions, and deeply explore the value of poetry as a cultural bond.
