The 16th Cross Strait and Hong Kong Macao Art Forum opened on the 29th in Guiyang City. Nearly a hundred experts, scholars, and cultural representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao regions held a dialogue on the theme of "Integrated Development and International Communication of Multi ethnic Cultures from a Global Perspective". In today's world, globalization and digitalization are deeply intertwined, opening up new spaces for the development of multi-ethnic cultures and posing urgent tasks for enhancing the dissemination of Chinese civilization. ”In his keynote speech, Zhang Zheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, stated that the federation will leverage its organizational and professional advantages to establish and make good use of platforms such as the Cross Strait and Hong Kong Macao Art Forum, and work together with literary and artistic workers from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong Macao to become guardians, inheritors, and promoters of Chinese culture. In his speech, Yu Zhaoke, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, said that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and the Hong Kong and Macao regions share the same roots, language, and heritage, with the genes of excellent traditional Chinese culture flowing through their veins. The Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles is based on the positioning of "relying on the motherland and facing the world", and promotes the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture in Hong Kong through practical actions. Wu Zhiliang, Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Macau Foundation, stated that Guizhou has accumulated rich ethnic culture and historical memory. The multi-ethnic traditions, ancient villages, and intangible cultural heritage skills here are vivid witnesses of the diversity and continuity of Chinese culture. As a window for the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures, Macau has an international communication network and innovation platform. The cooperation between the two places can be described as complementary advantages. Wang Jilong, Chairman of the Taiwan Chinese Literature and Art Association, believes that continuous innovation and promotion of China's excellent traditional culture accumulated over five thousand years are necessary to enable it to enter the world and people's hearts. The Cross Strait and Hong Kong/Macau Art Forum was founded in 2009, attracting numerous cultural artists from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong/Macau regions to participate enthusiastically. It has become an important platform for inheriting and promoting Chinese culture and building a common spiritual home. This forum will last for 3 days, during which activities such as the Cross Strait and Hong Kong Macao Multi ethnic Cultural Theme Photography Exhibition, Colorful Guizhou Ethnic Characteristics Exhibition and Exchange, and Cultural Visits will also be held.
