In the process of comprehensive rural revitalization, intellectual property rights are playing an increasingly important role. It has long surpassed the simple concept of legal texts and become the 'golden pole' of the villagers. It tells the market where authentic flavors come from, thus blocking out those imitative "Li Guis" and allowing true "good mountains and waters" to confidently "produce good products and sell at good prices". This' moat 'safeguards the reputation of a region's soil and water, as well as the livelihoods of thousands of households. Protection also means guarding the source of innovation. Seeds are the 'chips' of agriculture. Some 'imitation seeds' simply imitate and modify the original variety, allowing it to become popular in the market, not only disrupting the competitive order, but also seriously dampening the innovation enthusiasm of breeders. Nowadays, from establishing a national crop germplasm resource bank, to fully implementing the seed industry revitalization action plan, and to cracking down on infringement, we are building a full chain protection system for breeding innovation. This kind of protection safeguards the innovative enthusiasm of researchers and solidifies the foundation of primitive innovation in agricultural technology. The value of intellectual property lies in its ability to stimulate a series of "chemical reactions" and effectively drive the upgrading of rural industries. It catalyzed the iteration of technology. Taking breeding as an example, under the incentive of intellectual property innovation, more and more seed companies are willing to invest resources in innovation. In the past, breeding relied on human naval tactics and experience judgment. With the empowerment of technology, agricultural breeding is transforming from an experiential activity of "watching the sky for food" to a predictable and efficient "precision industry", giving birth to more and more breakthrough varieties with high yield, high quality, and strong stress resistance. This is a vivid portrayal of how intellectual property promotes the accelerated development of new agricultural productivity. It catalyzed a leap in value. The brand effect formed by intellectual property can effectively drive the extension of the industrial chain. Jiangsu Jurong, with the golden signboard of "Jurong Strawberry" geographical indication, has broken away from the simple planting industry and created a unique sales corridor, linking the development of picking tourism, catering and leisure, and allowing the "one fruit" to split into an integrated development industry chain. Behind this is the brand premium and industrial imagination brought by intellectual property, which upgrades agriculture from "selling products" to "selling scenery, experience, and culture", greatly enhancing the added value and development space of the industry. It catalyzes the activation of resources. The germplasm lying in the resource library is just a specimen. Only by awakening dormant resources and allowing them to be utilized can the advantages of germplasm resources be fully utilized. Not long ago, the National Crop Germplasm Resources Information Platform was launched, allowing more germplasm resources to be queried, shared, and utilized. This shared utilization under the premise of protection can not only break the "information island", allowing breeding experts to stand on the shoulders of predecessors and carry out higher-level innovation, but also help to make more valuable germplasm resources "used". The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to enhance the comprehensive production capacity and quality efficiency of agriculture. The development of modern agriculture has evolved from relying on physical strength to relying on technology and innovation. Intellectual property is an important part of it.
