The 3rd International Air Transport Association World Sustainable Development Conference was held in Hong Kong on the 21st to explore how to jointly promote the achievement of the aviation industry's net zero carbon emissions target by 2050. Cathay Pacific CEO Lin Shaobo stated that Cathay Pacific is promoting carbon reduction from various aspects, including introducing new models with higher fuel efficiency, updating and expanding its fleet, using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and reducing the use of disposable plastic products in operations to lower overall carbon emissions.
