On the evening of October 18, 2025, the Guizhou "Village Super League" kicked off at the main stadium in Rongjiang County. Eight sub venues, including Xiuwen, Yuqing, Ziyun, and Qixingguan, started simultaneously. Nine cities (prefectures) in the province also sounded the opening whistle, marking the official launch of the "People's Super League" in which 88 counties (cities, districts) participated. As a comprehensive promotion practice of Rongjiang's "village super" experience, the event is jointly organized by the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. From "single point popularity" to "global linkage", it constructs a pattern of "county kicking village super, weekly ball games, and monthly theme activities". It adopts a three-level advanced mode of "county qualification competition - city preliminary competition - provincial finals". More than 2000 matches will be held from October 2025 to June 2026. The competition integrates cultural and tourism elements, interspersed with intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, song and dance performances, and sets up a special agricultural product exhibition and sales area, forming a diverse experience scene of "watching sports games, appreciating intangible cultural heritage, and purchasing specialties".
