On October 16th, the 10th China International Copyright Expo and 2025 International Copyright Forum were held in Qingdao. The theme of this edition of the Expo is "Digital Intelligence Leading the Future · Copyright Innovation and Development", with five exhibition areas and a planned venue area of nearly 50000 square meters. It will attract 57 exhibition groups and over 1100 enterprises to participate, showcasing the digital and intelligent innovation achievements in the global copyright field. The Expo will systematically summarize the historic achievements of copyright work during the 14th Five Year Plan period, build an international platform for copyright product and service exhibition and trading at a high level, deepen international exchanges and dialogues in the field of copyright, and provide copyright support for accelerating the construction of a cultural power. The 2025 International Copyright Forum, with the theme of "Creative Industries in the Digital Age: Rethinking Copyright for Development", attracted over 400 guests from the copyright field both domestically and internationally. The meeting unanimously agreed that China's innovative practices in copyright not only provide support for its own economic and social development, but also offer broad opportunities for copyright development in various countries. Looking towards the future, the copyright field will focus on improving global copyright governance, jointly strengthening copyright protection, and continuously expanding international exchanges and cooperation in copyright. During the forum, the National Copyright Administration of China and the World Intellectual Property Organization jointly awarded the 2025 China Copyright Gold Award. During the event, the National Copyright Administration held an exhibition titled "Copyright Promotes the Construction of a Cultural Strong Country", which is mainly divided into six parts: legal protection, rights protection, industrial development, international cooperation, publicity and training, and good stories of Chinese copyright. The exhibition focuses on showcasing the positive contributions made by China's copyright work in promoting the construction of a socialist cultural strong country during the 14th Five Year Plan period.
