Recently, the Youth Work Committee of Dengta City People's Court in Liaoning Province held a symposium on "Old Leading New", using the three list system of "mentor pairing+weakness diagnosis+tackling tasks" as the starting point, to systematically promote the training of young police officers and achieve solid results. The leadership team of Lighthouse Court takes the lead in implementing the "mentor pairing" mechanism, pairing 2 to 3 young police officers each, and regularly holding "youth consultation meetings" to provide on-site guidance on difficult issues encountered in judicial practice. Focusing on practical needs such as "analyzing the key points of similar case judgments" and "improving mediation capabilities", a dual track model of "inviting in+going out" has been adopted. On the one hand, 39 young police officers have been selected to attend training sessions at the National Judicial Academy and its Liaoning branch. On the other hand, experts and key personnel from higher courts have been invited to provide 12 special guidance sessions on criminal and enforcement matters, focusing on filling the gaps in their abilities. In the practical training of "old leading new", senior judges lead young police officers to participate in the entire process of evidence sorting, document writing, on-site mediation, and other aspects, using court trials as a training classroom. The Lighthouse Court is implementing the "Youth Navigation Project" simultaneously, focusing on training young police officers in practice and helping them grow into the backbone of "task tackling". After nearly a year of hard work, the police team of Lighthouse Court has shown a strong and progressive new appearance, and the growth and wisdom of young police officers are gradually transforming into a legal driving force to serve local development.
