Recently, the new generation unmanned ground vehicle "Hermione" jointly developed by two French and Polish companies was unveiled at the Polish International Defense Industry Exhibition in the form of a technology demonstrator. The platform adopts a hydrogen powered propulsion system, aiming to meet the diversified needs of modern troops in combat and logistics support. Hermione "unmanned vehicle is 3.3 meters long, 1.85 meters wide, 1.4 meters high, and weighs 700 kilograms. The power system consists of a hydrogen fuel cell and a 25 kW battery pack, paired with four 8-kW electric wheel hub motors, which can achieve rapid refueling in 3 minutes, a single endurance of 20 hours, and a maximum speed of 39 kilometers per hour. The wheeled design provides strong maneuverability in both urban environments and rugged terrains. According to different models, the payload capacity of the vehicle covers 300 kilograms to 2 tons, with core functions including drone transportation and deployment, battlefield reconnaissance, logistics support, etc. It combines the advantages of covert operations and modular adaptation capabilities.
