On October 9th, Mr. Zhuang Peiyuan, Honorary Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Liwan District and President of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, led a delegation of chamber members and representatives of the 62nd Miss Chinatown in Los Angeles to visit Liwan District for inspection and exchange. The inspection team visited the Chen Family Ancestral Hall at the Overseas Chinese Home in Liwan District. The person in charge of the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation led the inspection team to appreciate the long scroll "Xiguan Overseas Chinese Heritage Map" specially created for the 11th Representative Conference of Returned Overseas Chinese and their Relatives in Liwan District and the closing ceremony of the 9th Overseas Chinese Season held on June 30th this year, introducing the construction and operation mode of the "Overseas Chinese Home". At the Nylon Association Overseas Chinese Home, Ms. Wang Xue, a member of the Standing Committee of the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation and an American overseas Chinese, shared the historical changes and cultural heritage stories of the association over the past 300 years, with a focus on showcasing the innovative application of Xiangyun yarn intangible cultural heritage skills. At the inspection symposium of the Nylon Association visited by the inspection team, the main person in charge of the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation introduced the situation of Liwan District's overseas Chinese to the inspection team in his speech, emphasizing that Liwan District will continue to cultivate the advantages of "overseas Chinese", do a good job in "overseas Chinese" articles, and provide a broad stage for overseas Chinese merchants based on the opportunities of integrated development of culture, business and tourism. She provided a detailed introduction to the business environment and support policies for overseas Chinese investment projects in Liwan, and proposed a cooperation initiative of "cultural platform, economic and trade performance".
