From 2020 to 2024, the total industrial added value of China increased from 31.3 trillion yuan to 40.5 trillion yuan, and the manufacturing added value increased from 26.6 trillion yuan to 33.6 trillion yuan. The manufacturing industry accounts for about 30% of the global total, and its overall scale has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years, reflecting the important position of China's manufacturing industry in the global industrial chain. On the other hand, in the current era of deep integration of digital technology and the real economy, the majority of business entities make full use of new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in the specific production process to carry out comprehensive and full chain transformation of the manufacturing industry, providing key support for the transformation and upgrading of various links within the manufacturing industry. However, the world is ushering in a new wave of technological revolution, and China is in an important stage of industrial development. The demand for high-quality economic development in the manufacturing industry is still significant, and the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry still faces many challenges. Firstly, compared with the world's leading manufacturing countries, there is still a significant gap in innovation capability in China. At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the regulatory standards and matters for the transformation of the manufacturing industry, strengthen the guidance of standards, regulate the development order of the industry, establish evaluation indicators and monitoring systems for the level of digitalization and collaboration in the manufacturing industry led by national standards, and provide support for the transformation of the manufacturing industry. The third is to optimize the industrial system and promote industrial integration and mutual promotion.
